The Westtech Woodcracker CS Compact series is a high-performance grapple saw built for excavators. Designed for safe and controlled tree removal, it allows precise cutting and secure handling in a single operation. With its compact design and powerful saw unit, the CS Compact is ideal for urban tree work, roadside maintenance, and challenging forestry applications.

Features:

• Heavy-duty, oversized worm drive rotation provides continuous 360° rotation with optional dual drive provides twice as much torque.
• Heavy-duty independent grippers adapt to the shape of the tree.
• Only 5 hydraulic connections required to power all functions.
• Automatic chain tensioner.
• The saw box has a swinging chassis with active suspension which prevents the saw blade from bending to force acting on it.

• The rigid mounting of the grapple saw to the excavator makes it possible to remove parts of the tree vertically from its setting. In this way, trees or objects nearby are not damaged.
• Grease lubrication on saw chain does not cause oil fogging and lubricates the chain in any position.
• Removable guide bracket.
• Automatic lubrication system for word drive rotation.
• KTL-primed (cathodic dip-coating) and powder coating providing excellent corrosion protection.
